Geum ‘Lady Stratheden’'Lady Stratheden' is an herbaceous perennial making a clump to 60cm in height, with hairy, dark green, pinnate basal leaves and purple stems bearing semi-double, rich golden yellow flowers 4.5cm in width.
Geum ‘Mrs Bradshaw’Geum ‘Mrs Bradshaw’ Is a most reliable, in fact one could say indispensable, herbaceous plant that is both compact and neat in habit. Growing to around 60 cm tall, with similar spread, the rich green foliage is smothered with bright scarlet red flowers. Flowering can start in May and continue through to September.
Geum 'Bell Bank'Geum Bell Bank has large, frilly rosy-coloured flowers on pink stems. It grows to 30cm and flowers from late spring into midsummer and often again in autumn.
Geum 'Hannay's' (Double)Geum 'Hannay's is a compact perennial forming a neat mound of dark green foliage, with coppery-orange double flowers in early and mid-summer. It flowers best in full sun and will cope with dry soil. Combine with complementary purples and blues to add excitement to your colour scheme!
Geum Princes JulianaGeum 'Princes Juliana' (sometimes called by its more English name, Geum 'Princess Juliana') is an early-flowering geum, producing warm orange flowers on tall stems above mounds of rounded foliage in late spring and early summer. Combines well with other later-flowering perennials such as Salvia to create a long season of interest for a planting scheme. Plant in full sun, in a moist, well-drained soil.
Geum rivale AlbumGeum rivale 'Album' is a compact herbaceous perennial. In late spring, it bears dainty, nodding, white flowers on wiry stems held above its lobed basal foliage.
Geum x BorisiiGeum x borisii is a low-growing herbaceous perennial producing bright orange flowers in summer, held on slender stems above neat, rounded foliage. Found naturally in open woodland, it will grow happily in light dappled shade as well as in sunny spots. It dislikes poorly drained or waterlogged soils.
