Do you make subsitutions?

Generally we do not.

Please remember that as we are dealing with live products substitution may occasionally occur, and you agree to and accept that this may happen by placing an order with us.

Substitutions are, however, very rare but where they do occur you will generally get a comparable product that is of equal or greater value. If the substitution forms a significant part of your overall order, we will discuss this with you first.

Substitutions where they do occur, are generally made in the 'collection' type products that we offer.

 
What is the Buy With Confidence Scheme?

In response to concerns about 'rogue traders' which are often highlighted in the media, a partnership of Local Authority Trading Standards Services have taken a ground-breaking step by putting together the Buy With Confidence Scheme. The scheme provides consumers with a list of local businesses which have given their commitment to trading fairly. Every business listed has undergone a series of detailed checks before being approved as a member of the scheme.

 
I need to return an item

Remember, as we are dealing with live products substitution may occasionally occur, and you agree to and accept that this may happen by placing an order with us. Substitutions are very rare, but where they do occur you will generally get a comparable product that is of equal or greater value. If the substitution forms a significant part of your overall order, we will discuss this with you first.

Please also remember that, as mentioned in other areas of the website, we supply young plants. They will not, at Point of Arrival resemble the plants in the accompanying images. In fact, depending on the plant in question and the time of year purchased, your plant may occasionally not even have foliage as it may be in a state of dormancy.

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please email us, quoting your name, address, order number and the nature of your complaint. We offer a completely 'No Quibble Guarantee' with our products, so if for any reason you are not completely satisfied, just return the goods within 14 days, and we will replace or refund you the full cost of your purchase.

Please note:
If you require a different product (rather than a straight swap out of the same product) you will need to place a new order online and return the original item for a refund.

 
Do I have to pay for return postage?

Unfortunately if you are returning an item to us for a refund, then the cost of returning the item to us is your responsibility.

We offer a completely 'No Quibble Guarantee' with our products, so if for any reason you are not completely satisfied, just return the goods within 14 days, and we will refund you the full cost of your purchase.
