Candelabra section Primulas are moisture-loving herbaceous or semi-evergreen perennials forming a rosette of basal leaves, with erect stems each carrying several whorls of salver-shaped flowers. Here is your chance to own six plants at unbelievable value, in three of the most reliable varieties.

 Primula beesiana

Primula beesiana is a deciduous perennial, forming a flat rosette of light green, crinkly leaves to 20cm long, with erect, mealy stems bearing several whorls of yellow-eyed, purple flowers in late spring and early summer. Flower stems grow 50–60cm high and flower in late spring or early summer. They prefer full sun or partial shade in moist soil, and are long lived.

Primula japonica ‘Miller's Crimson'

Primula japonica ‘Miller's Crimson' has crimson flowers which crown silvery stems that rise above rosettes of foliage from late spring. This robust little perennial holds an RHS Award of Garden Merit and creates a wonderful display in shady, damp spots and woodlands. For the best impact, plant in large drifts.
